What was the 'OTHER' job.
And what I asked before was..what kind of job (say, of the Home Depot ilk or whatever--I assume this is a summer job or summat) would you want to be looking for? Strictly cashier? Or do you wanna work in a toy store or a clothing store..or ..stuff like that. *grin*
I am looking for work too. But I presume it's a bit easier for you, as most places want student. Me? I'm a tad older than that. Heh. And I was looking for student type jobs, mostly fastfood, but tended to find most was very very part-time.
So I hear you. Good luck on that.
As for that logo; are you interested in Internet type jobs of that nature? I mean, if I can find jobs, (in my travels, I'm looking for writer related work) would you be interested?

i applied for cashire and i found out i got "laid off" from my other job that i was hoping would give me more hours..guess not...and the logo thing was kind of a long story but the gist of it is there were 4 people making logos for this company 1 profesional, 1 college grad (majoring in graphic arts), a friend of the family, and a high school student(me), and the company was going to annonomously put them on a table and have employees pick the best one that they should change their logo too and i should be hearing back from them soon ...hopefully...

Yea it was yesterday well the 30th and i dunno it got better as the day went on but when your freinds that you went to their birthday party two days before yours don't even say hi to you in the hall, or "friends" ask what the flowers are for (which are from your parents non the less) But my parents are uber-cool so it got better once i got out of school. but annyways... thanks
