We're in a similar dilemma - we were hoping to do The Importance of Being Earnest as our summer play, but its all been thrown into mild chaos as our director has had to drop out (maybe just temporarily) because of a family berevement. Now it may be last August before it goes on, and we haven't yet had auditions... :) (Smile)

All the fun of amateur theatre! But it'll be all right on the night...

Aww, I love Earnest! I wasn't in it, but I did a bit of poster design, along with top hat making... not amazingly well mind you, but I was told it got a laugh on the first night... two foot tall was perhaps pushing it... :) (Smile)

I know, its such a lovely play! I'm really hoping we can do it Pray Pray Pray Pray Pray we've got some good people already cast, and know where we can hire some gorgeous costumes... now we just need a venue!
