Most of them are just angsty teenagers with first-world problems complaining about their parents not being there for them 24/7, because busting your ass for hours and opting to work extra time for a salary bonus to satisfy your brats materialistic "needs" as well as food down his throat is "bad parenting".

It doesn't involve anything like that.
It doesn't even have devil/demon worship.Β
It's actually a fairly good religion in terms of the morals of the subjects following it.

Depends on the religion and how the people following it use it in day-to-day life.Β
Christianity itself is a fairly good religion in terms of how it tells it's followers to live and what morals they should follow.Β
A lot of morals in most societies today follow Christianity.
However, everything has a down-side.
"Christians" don't seem to actually read their holy book, they just go by what they think it says, or what someone's rendition of it was.Β
This has lead into why, at least in Eastern American culture, that Homosexuality is some sort of taboo that needs to be purged.Β
These are the people that say 'gays don't deserve rights' and then go home, do drugs, and beat their kids.Β
I'm all for religion, but only if it doesn't sway then negative thoughts/actions done by its followers.Β
