I'm 27 years old, and live in Sheffield, United Kingdom. I love anything creative - ever since I was old enough to hold a pen I've enjoyed writing, drawing, painting, reading, crafting. I love to use my imagination in whatever way I can!

I got married earlier this year, and I'm very lucky to have a husband that is so supportive of my need to create and do things with my imagination! I absolutely love anything crafty, and love to make polymer clay models, cards, plushies and general handmade cute things! I make alot of gifts for my friends and family, and I love to try out new things!

Unfortunately, I do have to work full time - I work for a charity, which I really enjoy. Sometimes it can be quite hard-going, and having the chance to craft is really relaxing!

I've recently taken on some of my first commissions - from family, friends and also fans of my facebook page. I've also opened my Etsy shop for ready-made and made to order items.

Oh wow! Another fellow Sheffield Clay Fan :) (Smile) That's awesome! Yea, I love playing around with clays! I've only been making since around March time! There's quite alot of useful tutorials on Youtube that I found - polymerclaybydeb or deb&co are really good ones - you should take a look! :D (Big Grin) Hehe I'm excited that theres someone else in this city thats nuts about clay!

What a coincidence! I started around March too! (Just had to check, haha) Although you've improved a lot more than I have in the last few months haha. I adore your cats, I really struggle with making them.

Whereabouts in Sheffield are you, if you don't mind me asking? I live near the centre, near West Street ^_^ (I'm a uni student and don't really know Sheffield that well, only been here since September Sweating a little... )

Aww thanks - your owls are great tho, I like them! I started off with a tutorial by polymerclaybydeb for the cats - she has a very good and easy to follow one on there :) (Smile)

I also found that changing the brand of clay I used helped me alot - I tend to use Premo Sculpey now as it seems to be not quite as soft as Fimo and holds well. Altho Fimo Classic is quite good

I live in Handsworth, which is near the huge Asda, if you know where that is! I've only been here a couple of years myself - I moved from Manchester to be with my now-husband! I really like Sheffield though, I found it to be a very friendly city!

I vaguely know where that Asda is. Vaguely.

I tend to use Premo Sculpey too, with normal Sculpey thrown in for certain colours (I wasn't able to find a pale blue in Premo, for some reason).

Again, a major coincidence. I'm from Manchester too, haha xD Although I've studied in Bristol for the last three years and I'm now studying MA Archaeology at Sheffield Uni. I love it, I'm planning on moving to London with my boyfriend after my course, hopefully to work in a museum, but we'll see how that goes :) (Smile)

Yea, I know what you mean, I ended up getting a pale blue pearly normal scupley instead!

Oh, haha what a coincidence! Also from Manchester! Yea, I did my law degree at Manchester a few years ago. I keep thinking about going back to uni to do teacher training as I'd love to teach. But now I have a mortgage and everything its really hard to work out how it would work!
