Hi, thanks for linking your house drawing, I like seeing different people's versions of the same character.

To make the highlights, I filled in the darker areas first (like under his lip) and then erased little hairs out. I got them so thin by keeping a sharp edge on my eraser (which is one of those "pen style" erasers) by trimming it with scissors.
