The story was a basic thing anyway, a practice piece for my main work

But it was still really good! It's hard to have a child as the narrator in a story, I've tried. You pulled it off very well.

I've had practice with writing my main character of Reina Beaumont and her sister as children, as well as writing age regression stories and trying to understand how a child thinks and feels, how the world must look to them and the fears they have. Takes a lot of practice to try and get the right context from a child's point of view for a story. Many tend to feel children are too stupid to know much, but they are actually quite intelligent, they just don't understand it all yet so it comes in simple terms while their brains are maturing and developing into the adults they'll become.

I try to avoid writing from a child's point of view too often though.

That makes sense and I can understand why you wouldn't want to do it all the time because writers need to try different things and experiment with different characters. I can't wait to see what else you're capable of!
