Heya, thought this one could interest you since you participated in previous FGE art collaborations
KOF 20thAnniversary: Art Tribute CollaborationBeside the 20th Anniversary of the Tekken series in December 2014, there is also the 20th Anniversary of the King of Fighters series.
This series started in August 1994 with the big feature that it combined new characters with the most popular ones from Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting and the protagonists from Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldiers as well.
New was also the Team-Mode which became a trademark for KOF. Instead of one character, the player got to choose three of them. Like Kyo, Benimaru and Goro Daimon or Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi etc.
The King of Fighters series is not so popular anymore but damn....we had a great time playing the games or?
If you see it similar and you would like to participate in an art tribute of the King of Fighters series, comment here. I was unsure about this but after over 10 artists showed their interest after a few uptime hours of this journal it was sure that there is still enough interest in KOF to get a damn nice Art Collabo

Thanks for the offer, I never really played any KOF games so I don't really feel a connection to the artwork, plus I'm currently focusing on working on my basics, but don't count me out for future projects^^

That tribute got a ton more positive response than i thought tough. Its a bit over a week and around 40 artists are on board including some i really did not expect. Seems its going to be pretty awesome. That old FGE project about rarely drawn characters is still ongoing and at nearly 200 different characters now..hell even Amingo from MVC2 was drawn for it now. Maybe that one is interesting for you again sooner or later, would be cool!

Hi, just started working on the Beat'em Up Tribute articles on Game-Art-HQ.com[link] now that Link's Blacklist is complete for the next months
I hope to have the whole Beat'em Up tribute with the currently 15 different games illustrated for it done in the first or second June week. As a personal fan of the genre i am super glad about the games which were chosen by you and the other artists and will try to put up really nice and informative articles about the games.
