Here's my advice to you after having been on this website for since 2002.

Always try to make a contribution. When an artist makes art it is a result which has a chance of making an impact.
Insulate yourself with good people. If you have good people around you then that will help you make a better contribution.
Never sell yourself short or let someone belittle you. It's ok to be bold.
Interact with other people as much as you can to create your own community.
Never forget how big this community is.
