Hey, this might seem weird to ask but I was watching fireflowermaiden for a while and then I couldn't get on my computer (certain circumstances for some time--a long while) and she blocked me...I don't know why, I liked looking at her art, can you ask why for me? That's all I want to know. My friends don't know (they don't watch her) and I don't think I was hacked while I was gone.
Thanks, Roman

I too! I have loved that, at least in the movies, they FINALLY are a pair. My fan fiction, apart from the beginning, is based on the continuity of the comix, but as soon as I got I did not miss the pleasure to draw those two together:-p

Yes hehe, the comic is pretty good but I had to stop Invincible Iron Man because it was just getting to a point where I couldn't continue. It was getting good but then it shifted the story too much and then they ended it. Which is sad because I was enjoying it thus far.
And I was happy to see Tony and Pepper in the movies as a strong couple. It made me super happy.

if I'm not too curious ... from what point did you decide to stop following the story? I am not approved for nothing a parenthesis of civil war (the fact that Tony has used Osborn, causing the death of 20 Atlantean ONLY to create a diplomatic incident that would convince the heroes to register themselves -.-) Ok, when Tony has a ALMOST idea does not stop at nothing. But his greatest fixed point ALWAYS is the inability to kill. It does not kill even Zeke Stane and the Mandarin (and to all the gods if they would have any reason to do it) That editorial decision has hurt me honestly, was trampling on the principles of character and I do not go down. But as for me (although the last two years have been a pain and I must say and I have to say I was a little angry for how they solved the "love affair" with Pepper) at the time the story is very compelling and he is a well-developed character.

I followed a bit of Civil War but not too much because I had just gotten into American comics around that time. After that I went into Invincible Iron Man and a few other smaller comic titles, like Velocity and Cyber Force along with Twilight Guardian.
I stopped around the time Doc Ock came onto the scene because it was getting a bit weird, and then it segued into Fear Itself and I had dropped it by then. I was disappointed because it was a good run until then. I'm surprised though that he did kill people in Civil War, that seems out of character.
It seems though that they do change key things to suit the world arc.
How did they solve the love affair with Pepper? Is this in Invincible Iron Man or another IM series?

I started to follow Iron man after seeing it at the cinema ... but I bought all the publications translated into Italian and follow him still, in the Marvel regular universe and the other stories, from Ultimates to Iron Man Noire. My favorite, however, remains the regular universe. Me neither really liked the mini saga of Octopus (the rest of the adventure that, fortunately, did not bring any result). Being Italian I just read the first issue of Iron Man Now ... but I must say that I have loved the whole saga against the Mandarin and Zeke Stane (even though I suffered a lot as Tony had to suffer before you figure it out) In this saga ... Pepper at the end lives with Wyche, leader of scientific research of Resilient (current company of Tony and Pep) and by the way we understand this is just Tony disappeared into thin air for months ... and he is actually a prisoner and slave of Mandarin -.-.
At the moment it is all sorted out ... but Pep is still with her last love and Tony does the usual playboy with a blonde ^ ^ '... we say that someone in my fan fiction, first tried to make another decision to Pep, and she finally agreed that it was strange, maybe she was really in love with that human. But I will not reveal more .. at least do not you just take off altogether surprised if you still want to follow my fan fiction

What's the regular universe in Italian? I'm not familiar with Iron Man Now, though I know that they've dropped IIM and rebooted it with another title. But I didn't like the art and so I haven't bothered with it.
It does sound interesting but I don't like that they did that to Pepper hehe, I love seeing her and Tony together but I know that those things are never solid in comic-verse.
Your fanfiction is interesting.

hahaha I completely understand. Captain designers sometimes I do not like ... but I'm too in love with the character of Tony to miss even a single story:-p. Some designers do not like (although, frankly, I do not mind so much to marvel now ... less photorealistic but in my opinion very good with expressions ... however Larroca regret that I loved so much T_T) anyway you. . I understand the needs of comix and probably would not make the happy couple (even though I do not understand why instead Reed and Susan -. -) Thanks anyway for the fans ficiton. Although leans narrative marvel universe I explained every single event, so I hope you can understand the same:-p

Yes I enjoyed Larroca's work too, even though Stark looked like Sawyer from LOST a lot of the time hehe.
And I think it's nice you have a neat story hehe, but Tony x Pepper is my solid OTP, mostly because of the movies. Your drawings are very good though, dragons are hard to draw.

but come on? I did not follow Lost ... I had not noticed and nn know the actor, I'll go look for the photos, I mean ... if he is the model I found another boy who would not mind ... although Downey Jr remains the best in the world *_*

Yeah, but I can see why they can't draw his face all the time in the comics but I'd like to see it in comic form hehe.
The actor Josh Holloway is pretty handsome hehe. I think you might like him.

You were right too!! He is IDENTICAL to the Stark Larroca! thanks a lot .... seen that for some of my latest designs I tried to take him hybridizing its Stark in Downey, know his model could semplificarmi things for the next drawings:-p

I think that'd be a good compromise. And yes Larocca definitely 'borrowed' from Holloway's pictures hehehe.

That's cool. I just have my Intuos 4 M still. I think after I bought it they soon released 5. I think it's very similar to what I have, so if you plan on getting one, it's really nice.
Yeah, it's on my new account. I've been working on uploading things there. You can check it out at .

AutumnEmbers In reply to stipend [2013-04-27 04:20:10 +0000 UTC]
Are you thinking of getting the 5 or 4? I'm not sure what you mean by flimsy but they are much smaller and thinner than the previous Wacom tablets.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
stipend In reply to AutumnEmbers [2013-04-27 05:00:31 +0000 UTC]
the price is spooky lol (i found corel has a small 4 for around 200$)
i was considering the 5, but i don't think it has the mouse accessory anymore...
which may not be an issue because the mouse buttons aren't functional in the latest version of linux that i'm using
(i'm waiting for a response on the ubuntu forums & hoping for a solution)
since the 4 works well for you i doubt there's an issue with durability...
(the 3's are quite bulky, an illusion of being tougher than the thinner 4 & 5s)

AutumnEmbers In reply to stipend [2013-04-27 21:16:21 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I had a 3 before I went to 4. I was surprised by how small it was hehe.
I use my mouse on occasion but for the tablet I use the pen the majority of the time. And you can always have a separate mouse plugged into your laptop if you still wanted to get one without the mouse.

i have a usb trackball, but i really liked the portability and convenience of the wireless battery free intuos mouse...

Really odd question but have you seen this? o.o; I was going through my gallery to figure out how I wanted to tackle the eye tutorial when I found this> [link] I don't even remember making it. XD I can make a new one if this isn't good enough, of course. I just thought it was funny i had one already.

AutumnEmbers In reply to Rythea [2013-02-07 18:14:20 +0000 UTC]
No I don't think I have. Thanks. I also have trouble with lashes and the shading around the eyes. It always looks too thick and chunky, not evenly blended.
I've seen others who make bases and they'll put a dark brown and then light brown around the eyes to get that effect but I just don't know how to shape it or where to put what colour. I hope that makes sense.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Rythea In reply to AutumnEmbers [2013-02-07 18:21:00 +0000 UTC]
i think i could help better if i could see the base you're working on. think you could share it with me via note? Then I can go in and explain what would help.
And I know what your saying about the brown. Its somewhat like a selective blending. I'll go do a quick step by step of that so u can get an idea of what to do. Still send me your WIP though, if you don't mind. I feel like I can better help if I know what i'm working with
