((Ah. Well then I'd be happy to help you.
First thing is to do is take a look to make sure the oc design you are looking at isn't an old design. If it isn't then do a bit of research on the area so you can have sources to show the oc creator and if the oc is doing something triggering and/or misrepresenting a mental illness or any other disorder do research on that too. Once you have sources then start looking at the bad of the oc and point out the things that they could improve easily or what is offensive and explain why it would be in their best interest to change that.
Most oc makers are mature and will actually take advice that will help them. How ever if they snap at you then you must stay calm and take a moment before you reply back. Never insult their art if they actually created it,and don't assume good art = good oc or bad art = bad oc. If they start harassing you for trying to help then feel free to block them or report any threats to DA. ))
