well im using wacom intuos tablet and photoshop cs 5, and for the steps i think you can take references to my metal gear rising fanart steps in my gallery but for the entry i'm using the simplified version of that steps. the 1st step is to sketch the idea on the paper and then scan or photograph it into photoshop and then you can trace and color it
