The ones I currently own weren't made by me, although I do plan on sculpting my own line of them at some point.

They're called "Asian ball jointed dolls", sometimes abbreviated to "BJD" or ABJD". There are lots of online forums and communities you can seek out.

There are quite literally hundreds of doll companies, mostly based in Asia, from which you can order these dolls. If you're interested in learning more, Den of Angels is a good place to start. This is also quite informative as a basic primer.

Nice! The best part is that they're completely customizable - it's amazing how different the same doll looks in a different wig, or painted differently.

Yes, they either come completely blank, or painted by someone else. You can learn to paint them yourself too, but it's a bit trying, since these dolls' heads are about egg-sized or smaller, and painting tiny eyelashes is a bit tough at first.

They come in tons of different sizes too, form over two feet tall to a little over a few inches. c:

Oh my gosh, please do! I am still trying to figure out what kinds of music I like. And I could do with a crash course in modern music history! My friends are really into folk music, actually, and while I like it, I don't think it's quite my "thing". Gotta branch out!
