Some of my oldest pieces on this gallery are rough attempts at experimenting with gonzo, but I've decided to put Gonzo on hold for a while until I'm better at this whole writing thing.
I'll probably return to it this summer, when I'm allowed to grab life by the balls and run with it.

A slightly more productive day than usual today, it's not exactly a spark of inspiration, but at the very least a smouldering ember just itching to plummet into a pool of cold gasoline.
If I even live through the night that is, I've been treading on thin ice lately, could have anyeurism or a stroke or SUDDEN DEATH SYNDROME OF DEATH!
Seriously though, chest pains and stomach ache and constipation can only lead to BAD THINGS.

It's like a sudden and unpredictable flashback. The typewriter turning into the cockroach. Sets me back a good decade or so, watching a late night film while my mother slept unawares. The scene I remember is the typewriters tearing each other apart. I didn't understand it, but I didn't care.
It's kinda blown my mind. I've seen the Naked Lunch before and I hadn't even realised. William S. Burroughs has had a ghostly grip on my life for quite some time, even if only in sepia toned dusty memory of a celluloid.
Must finish reading the book.

If you can keep up with the unique prose-poetry and lose yourself in the imagery of his personal hallucinatory junkie purgatory, it's a rewarding book that keeps on giving. I'd reccommend it.

The film isn't directly based on the book, bout an algamtion of vignettes from it, parts of Burroughs other writings and autobiographal details from his life.
I liked it, it has a sweet jazz soundtrack and a slick noir feel to it, plus, it's trippy to fuck.
