It's progressing, a little more slowly than I'd like, but I'm getting better. At this point I'm mostly dealing with the mood-killing effects of the pain pills.

Yeah, I can understand that. I didn't go through any reconstructive surgery before, but I have had surgery on my sinuses: had something called adenoids taken out when I was a lot younger, and then my tonsils were removed a few years later. Had some medication for it all, but it doesn't sound quite like the heavy stuff you got. The worst part of it all was when I had my tonsils removed and had to reteach myself to drink from a water fountain. I felt like such a tard. XD
Hope you get better soon! You've been posting a lot of art lately; it's lookin good!

Thanks, man! Yeah, mine was a bit more intense than adenoids, my bones had actually overgrown into my sinus cavities, so they had to chip all that out, then break and reset my nose to correct the septum. I'm doing pretty well, though, recovery has gone great so far.

You seem to only draw with pencil...Mmm you should definitely try with a tablet, your linearts would be much cleaner! ^^

Sorry to trouble you. I'm a scientist doing a writing piece. I have no desire for profit. I just want it to be read and credit that I wrote it. With that said I'm trying to assemble a semi-team to help refine my work. All who help will get as much credit as me. This is a Sci-fi novel and a very long one. Words done so far is 36,000 and is half way complete. My knowledge of the sciences is what keeps the book sci-fi and not fantasy. Improvements are good because I'm no writer but drastic changes will be gone over with my physics, chemists and biology friends. There will be artists to help do concept art once they are assembled. Let me know if you would like to help. I'll try to be as little in your way as possible.
