What a coincidence, I had a barbecue today myself. :3 Pretty tired and full now. Speaking of video games, I just got a virus alert for my PSXfin emulator (the .exe file) from AVG, and I still get the alert even when I delete the file and download a fresh copy off the official site. Not sure if PSXfin's having problems or if my AVG's just bugging out, but I definitely don't want to have to remove the file since I still wanna play PSX ISO's.

After a little bit of forum help, it turns out it's a false positive so I switched to another antivirus program. Everything's fine now.
Had another social family dinner, this time at a turkish restaurant. I'm trying not to eat so much, though, 'cause I'm overweight. I need to slim myself fast...

i'm still alittle overweight but exercise and cut down on certain foods helps.i droped around 9lbs just by cutting out soda...great i sound like a diet commercail.anyways there are ways to lose weight,you just gotta find one that fits you.

I think my problem is that there's too much food available around the house since there's so many people under one roof and it's just hard to resist the temptation.

Welp, still hustling in Scranton. We've been spending our weekends there for the past 5-6 years and we're desperately trying to finish this one last property we've been remodeling. It's just glacially slow since we're the only ones doing almost all the work and we're only there on the weekends.
What we have left to do is basically 1) install the moulding here and there, which is a pain in the ass because it has to be just right for it to look right: measurements, angles, positioning, etc.
2) Then there's completing the electrical work, basically putting outlet plates on the outlets, installing light fixtures and smoke alarms.
3) Any leftover plastering to fill gaps, holes, screw-heads along with repainting. We already hired two different guys to do the painting and plastering but they both did a terrible job so we decided to only trust ourselves to do it right which sucks because there's still so much to do. It's the kind of work we shouldn't be wasting our time with, but we just can't find any decent hands to work on it during the rest of the week when we're not there.
4) Once 1-3 are done we can begin with carpeting. For this, we're gonna hire Home Depot contractors, and we've hired them before with success so it's work we don't have to do ourselves nor worry about quality since carpeting isn't really hard to do anyway. But before we can proceed with that, we'd have to move all of our tools off the floors so the carpeters can have room to install the carpet, and that's a lot of work in itself because we have so much shit all over the place, none of it organized...
5) Completing the back upstairs patio balcony. We still have to finish the floor and the siding and whatever else the patio needs.
6) Completing the front porch. We plan on making a tiled porch and the concrete sub-floor we've made has already been there for a few years now. We just have to put the tiles on top along with the side moulding along the edges.
What really sucks about all this is that my dad is always the "manager" yet he's terrible at it. He never works with plan and he can't manage for beans, but because he's the dad, everything has to be his way... ¬_¬ The only other one who takes charge is my brother, who IMO is a much more organized worker, but he's always angry because he feels he's the only competent worker out of all of us and he's the one losing the most out of all this because he has a family that he already doesn't get to see much because of his weekday job which often involves traveling to places around the world.

sounds like your brother is like my mom's bro,works hard,organized,has own family yet still helps out.except my uncle is a car dealer in Texas.my great uncle also done a lot of work on houses.(this uncle is my grandma's brother)i used to help him with the electrical parts along with the tileing,so i know how much a pain in the ass that can be,add the fact that you have limited assistance and you've definitely got a whole bunch of shit to do.

What really worries me is that I might have to waste away yet another summer because of Scranton. I just can't enjoy weekdays because I work on those days and there's just not enough hours in the evenings to spend to have fun so without weekends, I can't do anything to enjoy my life.
